Motorola has rejigged its budget smartphone brand, Moto e, with the launch of Moto e3 Power. The new phone has several improvements over its predecessor, making it an enticing upgrade option for existing Moto e owners.
Moto e3 went on open sale midnight 20 September exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 7,999. The phone features a 5-inch HD display, 16GB internal storage and a large 3,500mAh battery. As usual, the latest Moto e iteration comes with pure Android.
Since its introduction, the Moto e brand has generated tremendous response from consumers. The Lenovo-owned company claims that the Moto e brand currently has more than 3 million users in India alone. The company looks to capitalise on its popularity with the revamped Moto e3 Power. Bloatware-free pure Android experience, coupled with a lower price tag and solid yet simple design, good specifications are a huge attraction for the Moto e buyers.
To make it more appealing, Motorola and Flipkart also offered opening-day-only discount of up to Rs 7,000 on exchange with an older phone, and an extra Rs 1,000 off on regular exchange value. Freebies also include a free 32GB Sandisk microSD card. Buyers also get a pair of Moto Pulse headphones for only Rs 499. There is good news for people looking to buy the product on EMI, as Flipkart is providing no cost EMI of Rs 1,334 a month (for six months), and another hefty Rs 800 direct discount for SBI card users.
